CORE DUTIES
- Lead crew to carry out routine maintenance works.
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities for road maintenance and related infrastructure works.
- Ensure works are carried out according to project specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
- Monitor workers, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure work progress meets project schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with company procedures.
- Record daily site activities, work progress, and manpower attendance.
- Assist the Technical Executive in updating inventory records and monitoring stock-take materials.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, materials, and machinery at the worksite.
- Enforce safety practices and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements.
- Liaise with project team members and report site progress or issues to the management.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Certificate / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or road maintenance works.
- Experience in supervising site workers and coordinating site activities.
- Familiar with JKR specifications, road maintenance works, and site safety requirements.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Responsible, disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
- Willing to travel and work at project sites within Sarawak.
